Scheme highlights –
The scheme remains limited to only eight districts in Jammu and Kashmir.
Girl Child born on or after 1st April 2015, along with parents having an annual income upto Rs 75000/-.
Return – Rs 1000 monthly contribution for 14 years and a cumulative maturity amount of Rs 6.5 lakh approx at the age of 21.
Department – The scheme introduced by the Social Welfare Department of Jammu and Kashmir.

जम्मू कश्मीर लाडली बेटी योजना को जम्मू कश्मीर समाज कल्याण विभाग द्वारा चालू की गया था. इस योजना का मुख्य उद्देश्य लड़कियों की शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देना और लिंग अनुपात को सुधारना है. इस योजना के अंतर्गत हर महीने लड़की के खाते में 1000 रुपये जमा करवाने होंगे और 14 साल तक यह राशी जमा करवाने होंगे. लड़की जब 21 साल की हो जाएगी लड़की को लगभग 6.5 लाख रुपये प्राप्त होंगे.

Who is eligible for the Jammu and Kashmir Ladli Beti Scheme?
J&K Ladli Beti Eligibility Criteria
- The Girl Child and her family should be residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
- Annual income certificate must less than Rs 75000/-
- The Birth of a Girl Child should be on or after 1 April 2015.
- Family should belong to the Economically Weaker Section.
- Government and Taxpayers are excluded from this scheme.
- Beneficiaries of other schemes or similar schemes are not eligible for this scheme.
J&K Ladli Beti Benefits
- Recurring deposit of Rs 1000/- per month by the J&K Government till the girl attains the age of 14 years.
- Cumulative Term Deposit by the Jammu and Kashmir Government till the girl attained the age of 21.
- After 21, the girl child gets Rs 6.5 lakh (approx).
- The financial Assistance will DBT in to the Bank Account.

JK Ladli Yojana Application Process – Eligible applicants can apply for Ladli Beti Yojana, Jammu and Kashmir, through an online application form.
- Application form of Ladli Beti Scheme J&K available at the Jansugam Portal of the Government.
- Register online by entering details such as Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Password.
- Create login details and use the Login portal Jansugam portal
- Fill in the application form and upload documents.
- Check the details like the girl’s name, parents’ names, age, address, mobile number, and others.
- After that, verification will done by the relevant officer.
- Then if everything will alright girl’s name will be added in the beneficiary list.
